Learn with Lily is a math learning app designed for children aged 4–12, developed and operated by Learn with Lily.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and their families. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is protected.

We collect the minimum information needed to personalise your child's learning experience.

Child's age	To set an appropriate starting difficulty level
Question history	To track progress and adapt difficulty over time
Device identifier	To link a child's progress to their device
Parent's email address	To obtain and record verifiable parental consent (COPPA)

We do not collect names, photos, location, or any other personal information.

🔒 How we protect your data

All data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in Europe.
All communication is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
Data is stored encrypted at rest.
No third party has access to your data.
We never use your data for advertising or profiling.

👨‍👩‍👧 Children's privacy (COPPA)

Learn with Lily is directed at children under 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

A parent or guardian must complete email verification before any data is collected.
We collect only the minimum data necessary for the app to function.
Parents may review, correct, or delete their child's data at any time by contacting us.
We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.

📤 Who we share data with

We share your data with no third parties. Data is stored on our own Microsoft Azure account and is not accessible to any outside organisation, advertiser, or analytics provider.

🗑 Data retention & deletion

We retain your child's data for as long as the app is in active use on your device. If you request deletion, we will permanently erase all associated data within 30 days.

📝 Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
